They don't get much better in Philadelphia than these three. Wayne Bush, Yong Kim and Elwood P. Smith seen in front of the Melrose Diner in South Philly. The diner is almost an institution for the locals. The character of the men seen here has a reputation equally as strong. The young guy on the right , Elwood, just turned 88 this past Monday, the 23rd of April 2007. He retired from the Philadelphia Daily News at 86. Wayne retired in 2005 the same year as Elwood. Yong, still working at the paper, is one of the best sports photographers on this planet earth.
