Naji now smiles as his grandmother, Margo Faircloth, holds him. This isn't the first time he has smiled. A parent knows every new thing their child does. It's the first time events they notice. Parents look forward to the first time a child rolls over, sleeps the night, smiles, follows with their eyes, talks, walks, goes to school, goes to the pottie, and etc. People think of graduating high school and college as major milestones but there have been so many reached before a child even reaches high school.
