Anybody have cash for a 'new' Harley-Davidson sitting in Jon Falk's garage? Allison (Jon's daughter) owns it now and he is trying to sell it for her. It's a black 2005 Soft Tail Deluxe (windshield and saddle bags), is fuel injected and has only 1824 miles on it. Cost about $20K new. Will sell it for $15,500.00. According to the Kelley Blue Book this model in the private person to person sale price is $15K+, so I know I am close. Clear title, no liens. No license tag, no insurance, no registration. There is one smudge mark about three inches long on the right side chrome pipe (I theorize it is from a rubber soled shoe coming in contact with the hot pipe and I am looking in to how to remove the smudge). Lives quietly here at Chateau Westmont in the garage where The Queen's(Carol, Jon's wife) car is supposed to be. I hauled this up from VA behind a Ford Expedition (on a trailer) two weeks ago and took it to the Harley dealer here for service. They put a new battery on it and pronounced it in perfect condition after test driving it for eight miles. By the way, they will only offer the wholesale price if I sold it to them, which is ridiculous. Jon is having two new (spare) keys made, which makes for three when they come in. His theory is somebody knows somebody who needs/wants/can afford/can't live without this gem and he needs to network and get lucky. There's an old saying: You've got to play to win.
