Now that I'm in Delaware I get to see a lot of farm land. It time now to plow over the corn fields as that crop has gone to market. I read a letter-to-the-editor in the local paper where the writer complains about the new "transplants" to the area. I guess he meant people like me who have moved from other states to enjoy the benefits of lower property taxes, no statewide sales taxes, etc. With the large influx of new residents come problems like more crime, more traffic, more schools needing to be built, and much more. This reminded me of Burlington County in New Jersey about 30 years ago.  There were lots of conversion of farm land to new home developments. So, I figure I have about 10 years before it'll be as congested in Southern Delaware as it is in Cherry Hill NJ. As long as I get my Wegman's Market I can deal with it.
