Above is a picture of Lhann, Wayne and some Russian immigrant who barely speaks English. The guys were helping to move Mary, Wayne's mother-in-law, out of her apartment in Echelon Towers in Voorhees NJ. After a couple of trips down the only elevator working, the woman above and a friend of hers's spotted the guys with a hand truck. She lived on the 10th floor and asked for help. She felt the guys were strong and her and friend were women in need of assistance. Wayne and Lahnn, said OK. The picture you see is after the piece on right was moved to the 6th floor. She was very grateful. At times she lifted her eyes toward the heavens and said thanks. She also said Lhann and I were "good boys". We cut her a break and didn't explain that two Black men didn't want to be called boys. She meant well. Later during the day, someone stole one of our hand trucks. That's OK as for every "as-h-le" that steals a hand truck, there's two people willing to help someone in need.
