A member of the Echelon Cricket Club takes his turn before the bowler. He would be called a pitcher in baseball. The club was beaten by the Ali Sports Club. It seems that everyone on the Ali Club has a last name of Ali. I'm not making this up. The Echelon Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the country. Who plays cricket? A lot of countries touched by the British Empire.  Pakistan, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinadad, and India come to mind. This game was held in a school yard in Voorhees, New Jersey. This action picture was taken without a motor driven camera.  Timing is the key to getting the ball in frame. Don't act like you don't see a red ball near the wicket. Yes, wicket, that's the three vertical sticks behind the batter.
