    Reggie leads Jessal through a pattern at school. Both Reggie and Jessal are members of my salsa class. They’re not related or a couple, etc.(my standard disclaimer). Reggie is actually getting someone to video the pattern in order to view later. Smart guy that Reggie. How can you tell these two are not beginner dancers? Well, take note of the hands. They are just touching. Better dancers just use a slight touch to direct and follow each other. Heck, if they wanted to shake hands then they would do it once the music stops. Salsa is about dancing with feet not shaking with hands. There's not much worst than dancing with someone who grips your hand. It makes you feel like you're being smothered.
