Photo by T.J. Faircloth That piece of plastic drop cloth was the best $1.39 spent in a long time. While a real estate agent was looking at the house she asked was the ceiling dry. Over ten years ago during a heavy rain storm we got water dripping down at the spot where my hand now sands a patching compound. Yeah, the compound was placed there ten years ago and never sanded. It's one of those things you never complete in a short time and then totally forget. Since our family uses the living room about 3 times a year, heck, I never even noticed the spot. Well, the agent did. The last thing I need is a buyer who thinks the thing leaks each time it rains or somebody takes a shower upstairs. The plastic helped my clean up job as I didn't have to move all those pictures on top the piano. This is a good example for: Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
